Thailand estate planning was at the heart of RWT’s collaboration with Generali Thailand for the “Generali FIRST Club Presents: Exclusive Legal Forum” at Dusit Thani Bangkok, bringing together legal, tax, and family governance perspectives for High Net Worth clients and Generali FIRST Club members.

RWT was honored to collaborate with Generali Thailand for the “Generali FIRST Club Presents: Exclusive Legal Forum” at Dusit Thani Bangkok, an exclusive event for High Net Worth clients and Generali FIRST Club members.

The forum brought together legal, tax, and family governance perspectives to address an increasingly important question: How can families protect, structure, and successfully transfer their wealth and legacy across generations?

Rachadawan Kelar, Founder & Managing Partner of RWT, led the session “Law & Legacy: Family Law and Wills,” discussing key considerations in family structures, matrimonial property, wills, estate planning, and the importance of aligning legal arrangements with an individual’s long-term intentions.

Theerapat Upaipanit, Senior Associate at RWT, presented “Inheritance Tax,” highlighting key legal and tax considerations that families should take into account when planning the transfer of wealth.

The forum also welcomed Nawapon Wiriyakulkit, Director of Family Business Asia, who shared insights on “Family Charter” and the role of family governance in supporting business succession and preserving family values across generations.

At RWT, we believe that legacy planning should not begin only when it is time to transfer wealth. It should begin while we still have the opportunity to design how our assets, businesses, values, and intentions will be carried forward.

Our sincere appreciation to Generali Thailand and Generali FIRST Club for the trust and opportunity to contribute to this meaningful forum.
